BrainStorm Review – Cheap Price Decent Product

If you’ve come across BrainStorm’s formula and was astounded by the amount of complicated ingredient names on the list, you’re not alone, our team was equally astounded when we conducting our BrainStorm Review.

In fact, as experienced as we are in this field, we too were quite shocked by the extent of BrainStorm’s blend.

BrainStorm by Allergy Research Group, a supplement that claims to give neurotransmitter support – is this a nootropic product we’re fond of? Like Our Editors Choice Nitrovit.

Or have we seen better?

Find out all about it in our review.

What’s In it?

We are looking at a super extensive list here. Instead of listing out every single ingredient on the formula, we’re going to show you guys the product’s supplement facts label, which thankfully happens to detail all the dosages as well.

BrainStorm Ingredients sheet

So what should your reaction be when you see a nootropic formula that’s much longer than the usual?

Well, without quickly jumping to any conclusions, you should first take into consideration the fact that a single capsule really can’t really hold that many ingredients.

A 1,500 mg blend, for instance, should really consist of 9-10 ingredients maximum, as this would allow each substance to perform and do its job without interference.

Here’s what we believe are the best and worst picks in BrainStorm’s formula…

The good:

Ginkgo: People can continue to argue about the effectiveness of this ingredient, but through our own experience as well as the feedback that we’ve received from hundreds of our readers, Ginkgo is definitely a keeper.

Even if it doesn’t work for you particularly to enhance memory or learning, it will (if taken at the recommended dosage, overtime) improve blood circulation in the brain, leading to sharper thinking and higher focus.

N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine: Fantastic ingredient to add to the blend.

N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine will enhance your focus, get rid of fatigue and make you feel on top of your game. But wait, a daily dosage of 500-1,000 mg of the substance is recommended. In each serving of BrainStorm, you only get 25 mg…uh-oh!

The not so great…

Thiamine, Molybdenum, Riboflavin, etc.: To clarify, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with these ingredients. In fact, most of them are essential nutrients that our body needs to maintain good health and proper function.

However, we can get these vitamins and nutrients from our multi-vit… not our cognitive enhancing supplement! In our opinion, it’s simply unnecessary for them to put these ingredients in the mix.

Choline Bitartrate: We’ve mentioned a couple of times that it is beyond essential for every nootropic supplement to contain a choline source. Choline has its own brain-boosting benefits.

But when included in a stack, it can help the absorption of other ingredients and even prevent side effects.

Allergy Research Group clearly understands this, which is why they’ve included Choline Bitartrate in their formula.

But we’ll have you know that Choline Bitartrate is the cheapest and arguably the most low quality form of choline.

There are much better options in the market such as CDP Choline or Alpha Lipoic Acid.

What does BrainStorm do?

BrainStorm’s formula is sort of a 2-in-1 multi-vitamin and nootropic stack. For this reason, the product can increase blood flow to the brain and support overall wellbeing.

Blood flow

You would receive a lot of nutrients by taking this product on a daily basis. Although, the manufacturers have not stated that BrainStorm can replace your daily multi-vit, it seems like it potentially could.

Verdict from our BrainStorm Review

BrainStorm’s formula is not at a level that we had hoped it would be. They’ve got their dosages wrong (i.e. there should be at least 500 mg of N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine in order for it to work, but they’ve only included 25 mg).

They’ve also placed in a bunch of what seems to be filler ingredients (an overload of vitamins and minerals).

If you like the idea of mixing your multi-vit and nootropic stack into 1 then perhaps BrainStorm is a great option for you.

The product is sold for a very reasonable price as well ($36.59). It shouldn’t take you too long to make the decision of whether or not to buy it.
