FutureBiotics is a company that believes in the use of pure, botanical ingredients when creating their products. They offer a very wide range of products but today we’ll just be focusing on ThinkFast, a product engineered to boost cognitive performance in aspects such as focus, memory and decision-making. We know exactly which ingredients to look for when reviewing a supplement. We just hope that ThinkFast will make a good impression on the office and leave a memorable mark. Although the best formulas usually contain both traditional herbal ingredients and modern cutting-edge ones, we can see how ThinkFast’s purely botanical formula can benefit those who are sensitive to cognitive enhancers and/or are concerned with side effects. What’s In it?

CogninSA – 300 mg: Composed of Chinese Skullcap root extract – may prevent memory decline, and Acacia heartwood and bark extract – contains powerful antioxidants.

Bacopin – 200 mg: A natural adaptogen that helps the body and mind respond better to stress. Research also suggests that Bacopin may be able to improve memory recall and enhance overall mental function.

Ginkgo Biloba Extract – 120 mg: If there’s anything this formula ought to have, it’s Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract. The most popular brain-boosting herbal supplement has made the grade for its ability to boost blood circulation. This leads to stronger and faster brain activity, and potentially improved focus. Gingko Biloba extract also contains flavonoids, which are natural antioxidants that can maintain brain cell health.

What it does for you

We like ThinkFast’s formula and can see how the different ingredients can interact well together to bring benefits. In the office, it was clear that ThinkFast worked best to improve concentration and attention to detail. These extended periods of focus were very real indeed because we know the difference between ‘just having a good day’ and actually seeing enhanced concentration. ThinkFast worked well to reduce distractions. However, we saw absolutely no improvements in memory recall and/or capacity.

 

Overall

ThinkFast’s biggest problem is that it didn’t achieve all its promises (which include memory, attention and brain function support). While using ThinkFast, we felt more absorbed in whatever it was we were doing and it was almost effortless to brush aside distractions. For instance, two of our members were able to stay in their seat at the office for 4-6 hours without feeling overworked or stressed out. So it definitely works (at least in the short-term). But we were disappointed to see such limited effects. Meaning that the results never went beyond boosted-attention.
